Looking to attend a royal wedding this fall? Here's your chance! Princess Eugenie and her fiancé, Jack Brooksbank, have just revealed that they're inviting 1,200 members of the public to their wedding ceremony at Windsor Castle's St George's Chapel on Oct. 12.
"Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank would like to invite members of the public to join their wedding on 12 October, 2018, to attend inside the Precincts of Windsor Castle. Members of the public who would like to attend can fill in an application form (for more information see the link in our bio on our profile page)," a message posted to the royal family's official Instagram account on Wednesday, July 18 began.
"1,200 members of the public will be able to view the arrival of the congregation and Members of the Royal Family, listen to a live broadcast of the Marriage Service, and watch the start of the procession as the couple depart at the end of the Wedding ceremony," the statement concluded.
In another message posted to the British monarchy's official website, it was announced that Eugenie, 28, and Jack, 31, will embark on a carriage ride around the town of Windsor following their ceremony. "The newly married couple will then undertake a short carriage procession through part of Windsor High Street. The carriage will process through the grounds of Windsor Castle, departing via Castle Hill to proceed along part of the High Street before returning to the Castle via Cambridge Gate," the site explained.
Jack and Eugenie previously announced their royal engagement in January of this year. The couple will tie the knot at the same location that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said "I Do" on May 19. We can't wait for the next royal wedding in just a few months!
