We’re in the final countdown until Meghan Markle gives birth to her first royal baby with husband Prince Harry. Once her little bundle of joy arrives, you can expect her to break away from royal tradition and raise her daughter or son her own way.

Meghan, 37, and Harry, 34, announced on Thursday, April 11, that they will not be releasing any details about their royal baby’s arrival like Kate Middleton and Prince William did prior to their kids being born. ”Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private,” a statement released by Buckingham Palace read. “The duke and duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”

Since they plan on keeping delivery plans private, Harry and Meghan will most likely not take any photos on the steps of St. Mary’s Hospital like the Duke, 36, and Duchess, 37, of Cambridge. Posing for photos outside the London hospital has been a royal tradition Kate and William followed with her children — Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 11 months — so it’s quite interesting to see what Harry and Meghan will do after they meet their baby.

However, like Kate and William, Meghan and Harry will do a photo shoot with their new child when they are ready to release Baby Sussex’s first photos to the world. The photos will most likely happen at Windsor Castle just a few days after the Duchess of Sussex gives birth and, if we’re lucky, they may even post the photos to their new Instagram account so royal fans can get a good look at the newest member of the royal family.

Harry and Meghan must be so excited to meet their baby. We, for one, cannot wait!
