Chances are Meghan Markle won’t take photos with Prince Harry and their royal baby on the steps of St. Mary’s Hospital when their little bundle of joy arrives. Although Kate Middleton was known for taking the iconic pics with her babies, the former Suits star plans to do things her own way!

“At the moment, we understand that she isn’t … she doesn’t want to do that, isn’t going to do that,” British correspondent Emily Andrews said during a recent episode of “On Heir” podcast. Royal commentator Omid Scobie chimed in, noting that the 37-year-old has always been the rebellious one in the royal family.

“Given what we know about Meghan, the optics of a totally glamorous, picture-perfect moment hours after giving birth are not quite in alignment with her views on the world,” Omid said.

Since Kate, also 37, had parking restrictions in place weeks before she welcomed Prince Louis, 11 months, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince George, 5, at St. Mary’s, it’s possible Meg doesn’t plan to deliver her baby there in late April.

A source previously told Us Weekly that Meghan will most “likely” welcome her baby at a London wellness center. If she and Harry move to Frogmore Cottage before her due date, though, she will deliver  at Frimley Park Hospital — the same place Harry’s aunt Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, had her kids.

“If their Royal Highnesses have moved to Frogmore Cottage before the birth, as planned, Frimley Park may be a more easily accessible option than St Mary’s,” another insider explained to Daily Mail. Plus, Harry and Meghan’s new home is only 15 miles away from Frimley Park, while St Mary’s is 23 miles away.

At Frogmore Cottage, they’ll have everything that they need to raise their baby. “It’s set in a delightful location, safe and secure — away from prying eyes,” royals expert Dickie Arbiter previously revealed via Twitter. Dickie also said the couple will have “lots of space to bring up a family.” How sweet!
