Baby Alert!Pregnant Meghan Markle Is 12 Weeks Along and ‘Feeling Well,’ Source Says
It looks like there is going to be a new member of the royal family! After Kensington Palace announced today that Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is pregnant, many are speculating as to how far along the brown-eyed beauty is. A royal source revealed that Meghan is reportedly 12 weeks along and “feeling well and in good health” after her first doctor’s scan, Vanity Fair reported.
Word has been buzzing of a possible pregnancy and many speculated that is why Meghan has been wearing loose-fitting clothes lately. She and Prince Harry allegedly waited to announce their exciting news for a few reasons: they wanted to be assured that all was well at her three-month visit, and they so humbly wanted to wait until Princess Eugenie’s wedding had passed so they didn’t steal the limelight on her big day.
Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.

A spokesman for the family reportedly said, “The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted for the couple and were able to congratulate them on Friday at the wedding in person. Ms. Doria Ragland is very happy about the lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild,” Vanity Fair reported.
Though celebrations are definitely in store, Meghan and Harry touched down in Sydney yesterday for the start of their very first overseas tour together. The expectant royal couple will be on a 16-day-tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand to focus on youth leadership and environmental and conservation efforts. The tour also coincides with the Invictus Games, a Paralympic-style sporting event for wounded veterans from around the world that was founded by Prince Harry in 2014.
Before heading out on their first tour as a married couple, Kensington Palace revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex supposedly inquired as to whether the trip would be safe enough for Meghan, as the Zika virus has been detected in areas of both Tonga and Fiji. Though royal admirers may be fearing for the three-months-pregnant Duchess, the pair consulted with doctors and decided to go through their trip as planned, E! reported.
With a new pregnancy that comes along with many risks while traveling overseas, it has become very obvious how dedicated Meghan and Harry are to their royal duties. An aide allegedly told Vanity Fair that there will be no changes to the newly pregnant couple’s tour program. You go, Meghan!
