It looks like Prince George is ready to ace the tennis court! The little royal’s mom, Kate Middleton, reportedly chatted with friends about her 5-year-old son’s love of tennis while attending day two of the 2019 Wimbledon Tennis Championships on July 2.

The 37-year-old beauty apparently revealed that George not only admires tennis star Roger Federer, but that the little royal has even played a set with him! On July 3, hosts for Wimbledon Morning Coffee — the tennis tournament’s recap show — chatted about Kate’s outing.

According to the hosts, the royal mom — who sat with British tennis player Katie Boulter and retired British star athlete Anne Keothavong during her sporty outing— reportedly opened up about her son’s love of tennis and how he got the opportunity to play with his favorite star. So cool!

It’s no surprise that George has developed a passion for the sport considering his parents, Kate and Prince William, are massive tennis fans. The royal couple — who are also parents of 4-year-old Princess Charlotte and 1-year-old Prince Louis — even have a tennis court at their country home in Norfolk, Anmer Hall!

During last year’s Wimbledon, William, 36, told Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic that he’s trying to get his older children into sports. “How are your children?” the 32-year-old athlete asked Kate and William in a video shared by the famed tennis tournament. “Very well, thanks, very well,” the Duke of Cambridge responded before sweetly adding, “Trying to get a tennis racket in their hand — and a football!” Aww!

Each year, royal fans look forward to seeing their favorite family members out and about at Wimbledon. Kate, who has been an avid attendee for many years, once opened up about the annual outings. “It is such a quintessential part of English summer,” she once said of the tennis tournament in 2017. “I was really taken by [Andre] Agassi and [Pete] Sampras, [Goran] Ivanisevic and Steffi Graf. That for me was my first memories.”

It looks like we’ll have to stay tuned for George’s 2040 Wimbledon debut!
