Kate Hudson’s Daughter Rani Takes Her First Steps: ‘And She’s Off’
One day they’re walking and the next they are starring in a big film — well, Kate Hudson only has to focus on the former for now as her youngest child Rani Rose just took her first steps.
The 40-year-old took to Instagram on Friday, October, 11, to share an adorable video of her daughter, 1, walking for the first time. “Walking into Friday with Snake … ” the actress wrote, referring to her little one wearing a tee of the character Snake Plissken from the film Escape From L.A. — which of course starred Rani’s grandpa, Kurt Russell. Kate added, “#TGIF #AndShesOff.”
In the clip, the Almost Famous star can be heard saying, “Come to mama. Good girl.” Take a look at the moment below!
Fans were of course loving the adorable post, as they took to the comments section to gush. “Love! Aww made me tear up,” one person said. “That is the cutest baby,” another added. Even fellow mom (and actress) Diana Kruger chimed in and said, “Oh! Mine is a minute behind yours.”
The Oscar nominee shares her baby girl with her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa. The pair have been together since 2017. However, the A-lister also has two more kids. She shares son Ryder, 15, with her ex-husband Chris Robinson, and Bingham, 8, from a previous relationship to Matt Bellamy.
Goldie Hawn‘s only daughter has been quite open about being a parent, especially to little Rani. In fact, she once revealed that she intends to raise her baby with a “genderless” approach. “We still don’t know what she’s going to identify as,” Kate told AOL in an interview.
“I will say that, right now, she is incredibly feminine in her energy, her sounds and her way. It’s very different from the boys, and it’s really fun to actually want to buy kids’ clothes,” Kate told the outlet. “With the boys, it was just onesies … actually, I did pretty good with the boys. But with her, it’s a whole other ball game. There’s some stuff that I’m like, ‘I can’t do that to her, because it’s so over-the-top.'”
We just hope Kate documents more of these incredible moments — especially if Rani continues to wear the best onesies!
