Julia Roberts Shares Cute Pic of Herself Dressed Up as a Cowgirl for Her 52nd Birthday
Homecoming actress Julia Roberts was so excited to turn 52 years old on Monday, October 28, that she took to Instagram to wish herself a happy birthday — and her friends completely loved it!
“52. Yeehaw. 🎂💃🏼,” she wrote alongside a picture of herself wearing a cowboy scarf and trench coat. Julia’s post quickly garnered over 300,000 likes in just one day and all of her A-list pals took to the comments section to wish her the best.
“Happy Birthday! I think you transposed the numbers. It’s 25, right? Love you!!!!” Rita Wilson joked. Jennifer Aniston, who just joined Instagram on Tuesday, October 15, added, “Happy Birthday, beauty!! ❤️.”
Ever since Julia turned 30, she has learned to embrace the beauty of aging. “On my 30th, every person I loved and adored in the world was with me. I was excited and could not understand the tone of doom about leaving my youth behind,” she previously revealed to The Sun. “Since then, my life has been bliss. If I knew that 30 was going to be so much fun I would have done it at 22!”
Not only that, but Julia has found so much happiness with age. “Happiness takes on different forms as you get older, smarter, have more friends or get deeper into relationships in life,” she explained. “And the least of my worries is age. I work hard at my job and as a mum. I do not count the years. We all get old and that is OK.”
As a mom of three, Julia has learned the best ways to parent her kids over the years with her husband of 17 years, Daniel Moder. That way is being a strict mother to her 14-year-old twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, and her 12-year-old son, Henry.
“I have three young children so I’m very careful about turning the TV on,” she said. “It’s interesting trying to raise kids in this day because it’s all so new — the pressures, the resources, having the world in your hand like that.”
Julia doesn’t even like the thought of her kids using social media because they’re still so young. “I try to keep them off social media, because I don’t really understand what they need that for right now,” she said.
At 52, Julia has become more wiser, more beautiful and way more phenomenal!
