You go, girl! Julia Roberts may be new to Instagram but that doesn’t mean the 50-year-old actress is afraid to put her online haters in their place when needed.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Instagram account @thevintagecostumecollector posted a side-by-side pic of Julia and Joan Crawford both sporting similar black dresses with the caption, “Who wore it better! I always like to find the glamour of classic Hollywood when I can. Over the weekend Julia Roberts looked stunning in this gorgeous full length gown designed by Dsquared2 and in a little way has brought back the shoulder pad to the red carpet at the Toronto film festival. I love it. Full length stylish classic elegance.”

Then Instagram user @anniemagic11 commented on the image, “Joan Crawford looks way better in my opinion more classic and refined and Julia is wearing ugly black nail polish.” And, when Julia saw the mean-spirited comment, the mom-of-three just had to comment with the most perfect response ever.

“@anniemagic11 It is in fact a navy polish with garnets crystals as a grounding accent. In case you would like to edit your comment from ‘ugly black nail polish’ to ugly navy nail polish with Garnet crystals. Just sayin’,” Julia wrote, according to @commentsbycelebs.

This isn’t the first time that Julia’s Instagram activity has recently made headlines. Last week, the Ocean’s Eleven star posted an adorable (and rare!) snapshot of herself hugging her husband of 16 years, Danny Moder, on the photo-sharing site. “Oh summer, thank you! You made us happy and brave. We embraced every moment of sun-drenched JOY ☀️#FamilyTime,” she captioned the sweet pic.

Then, while speaking to Extra on Sept. 10, Julia provided fans with some behind-the-scenes details of her cute Instagram photo with Danny. “I said to him — we were lying in bed — I go to him, ‘Can I post this picture?’ Because that’s a weird question. New to my lexicon. And he was like, ‘Okay,'” she shared, adding that Danny is an “awesome human being.” So adorable!
