Jodie Sweetin Soaks Up the Sun As She Celebrates 38th Birthday With Boyfriend in Mexico
What a memorable vacation! Jodie Sweetin recently turned 38, and she celebrated it the best way she can: by taking quite the trip to Mexico with her boyfriend Mescal Wasilewski.
The Full House alum took to Instagram on Thursday, January 23, to share numerous photos with her man while enjoying the beautiful weather. “Yeah … this doesn’t suck. Enjoying my beautiful birthday vacation with my love @ghostfacelito and soaking up all the sunshine I can on the beach.” she wrote alongside the snaps, before adding, “#allsgood, #sunshinebooksandbeach” and “#perfection.”
Everyone was all about the pics, as they took to the comments section to respond. “Looking good — enjoy the vacation,” one fan said. “Soak it all in girl! You deserve this!” another person added.
The actress recently wrapped up the Netflix show Fuller House, after five very successful seasons. “We have had an amazing run and it’s been so much fun and it’s gonna be really sad to leave, but at the same time, I think it’ll actually be easier this time because now I know that these people are in my life forever,” the star told Entertainment Tonight said of her costars, including John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure, Bob Saget and others. “When [‘Full House’ ended], it was like, ‘Am I ever gonna see them again? I don’t know!’ And now I’m like, ‘Oh, yeah, we’re still gonna see each other all the time.’ But, it’s a bummer. I mean, we love doing the show and have so much fun together.”
While the stars may not be working everyday together anymore, they will always share a connection. Bob once revealed that he always felt “paternal” towards Jodie while on the show. “I do a little bit with Jodi. When Jodi Sweetin was 9-years-old, my daughter Aubrey was 7, and so they would play together, and Jodi slept over at the house. I felt like friends to everyone. They’re women and I’m not an ageist,” the comic, 63, exclusively told Closer Weekly at the Cool Comedy — Hot Cuisine benefiting the Scleroderma Research Foundation event on December 10.
We are just happy to see how much Jodie is enjoying her post-Fuller House life. We can’t wait to see what’s next!
