HGTV’s Fixer Upper star Joanna Gaines just proved how unbreakable her love with her husband, Chip Gaines, really is. The mother-of-five took to Instagram to share the sweetest of words and throwback photos to commemorate both Chip and the milestone anniversary of their company, Magnolia.

Magnolia began as a small business in 2003 when the couple first began pursuing their dream, and now, 15 years later, it has flourished into a multi-faceted company. In her post, Joanna reminisces on how Magnolia began and to be honest, we’re getting a little emotional too! Take a look at the touching post below.

15 years ago… Happy Anniversary Magnolia! A few things I want to call out from these photos: Red lipstick. The vase on the counter- I remember I stenciled the words "imagine" and "dream" on these glass jugs I we bought for a buck each at a garage sale. They were my best seller that season. 😂 The sign on the building was what @chipgaines surprised me with when we found out we couldn't afford a real sign. He always saves the day. This was also the year that the phrase "Live Laugh & Love" was at its peak in popularity. And my biggest regret was selling that large antique counter in photo #3. I still think about that thing. I have zero regrets though about stepping out and just going for it- this shop, this business, it has our hearts. We are so thankful and this is why we SILOBRATE! Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years, we wouldn't be here without you❤️#silobration @magnolia

“15 years ago… Happy Anniversary Magnolia!” Joanna started off. She continued by pointing out the things that stuck with her the most in the three photos she shared. She then mentioned the average looking Magnolia store-front sign on the building that Chip surprised her with when they found out they couldn’t afford a real sign. “He always saves the day,” Joanna gushed. “I have zero regrets though about stepping out and just going for it — this shop, this business, it has our hearts. We are so thankful and this is why we SILOBRATE! Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years, we wouldn’t be here without you.”

It seems as though Joanna has multiple reasons for being nostalgic and sentimental these days. Chip, 43, and Joanna, 40, have been married for more than 15 years, and in that time, have created a beautiful family with their five children: Drake, 13, Ella Rose, 11, Duke, 10, Emmie Kay, 8, and the newest addition to their family, Crew, who is four months old. Chip and Joanna’s roots have always kept them humble, and they have made it clear that family will always come before fame. “Being good parents is Chip and Joanna’s first priority,” an insider exclusively shared with Closer Weekly of HGTV’s dynamic duo. “They always put their family first and they both would move heaven and earth for their kids.”

With so much constantly going on, Joanna and Chip have become experts at mastering the art of balancing work-family time. “They involved their brood in the filming of Fixer Upper so that they could spend time with them on camera and off,” the insider said. The couple also made an important promise to their children — and to each other. “We insisted we would never travel more than 30 minutes outside of the Waco area for our renovation projects,” Joanna noted. Added Chip, “It’s not worth it to take on some big deal and leave the kids for weeks.”

Reminiscing on the last 15 years of Magnolia must be a truly amazing feeling for the two lovebirds. While Fixer Upper contributed to large amounts of success, pulling the plug on their show for the sake of their family was vital and they both agreed. Luckily for them, five seasons of the show gave them the recognition they needed in order to capitalize on their accomplishments. Their Magnolia brand that used to be just a remodeling business blossomed into its own magazine, a boutique marketplace, vacation rentals, book deals, the Hearth & Hand line at Target and a recently opened restaurant. We can’t wait to see what other business ventures the couple comes up with!
