It was a tragic day when Celine Dion‘s husband, René Angélil, died from a heart attack at the age of 73 back in 2016. Now, three years after he passed, Celine is opening up about her dating life and reveals she’s still in love with him today.

“I don’t date, I don’t have a boyfriend and, you know, it doesn’t mean that I will not find someone in my life,” Celine, 51, said on the November 18 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “If I do, that would be great. If I don’t, that will be great, because I’m still in love.”

Celine admitted René still has her heart today and she still feels him everywhere she goes. “I mean once you’re in love so much, you know, I’ve been living all my life with René is still within me,” she said. “I see him through the eyes of my children every day.”

The “It’s All Coming Back to Me” singer shares her 18-year-old son, René-Charles, and her 9-year-old twin sons, Nelson and Eddy, with her late soulmate.

“I’m so passionate about life and I’m so lucky to have my three beautiful sons, but I keep everything open,” she said about wanting to find love again. “If it happens … I’m not looking for that. I think it’s something that happens, that you feel, that comes and you feel it and, right now, if I would have someone in my life, I would tell you because I’ve been an open book all my life — but if I do I’ll come back and talk to you about it.”

Celine also spoke about her relationship with her best friend Pepe Muñoz. She wanted to set the record straight about them being romantically involved. “I was not surprised [by the rumors],” she said. “He’s my best friend. We have a good time together. It feels like today you cannot have a man holding your hand.”

“One day I said, ‘He’s gay. He’s not my boyfriend. He’s gay. Calm down,’” she added. “I’m not trying to hide here. Everything’s cool. But we can hold hands, we can go to the movies and restaurants. Calm down, people.”
