Unlike most newlyweds who are in a rush to start living together shortly after their wedding, Gwyneth Paltrow says that she and her husband, Brad Falchuk, 47, are taking things at their own pace. In the December 2018 issue of The Wall Street Journal, Gwyneth admitted that she hasn’t moved in with Brad yet because they want to be respectful of their four kids.

“With teenage kids, you’ve got to tread lightly,” the 46-year-old actress said about Brad’s two children, Brody and Isabella Falchuk, from his previous marriage to Suzanne Bukinik. “It’s pretty intense, the teenage thing.”

As a new stepmom, Gwyneth is getting used to being a part of a blended family. She’s already a proud parent to her two kids, Apple, 14, and Moses, 12, that she shares with her ex-husband, Chris Martin. “I’ve never been a stepmother before. I don’t know how to do it,” she admitted.

So far, Gwyneth and Brad have been taking things slow since they got married this past September in the Hamptons. “We are still doing it in our own way,” she said, and that’s how they like it! Gwyneth confessed that although she doesn’t live with Brad, she still has a room in her home for Chris to relax in when she’s traveling. Gwyneth still likes to have a close relationship with Chris even though they divorced in 2016.

“Gwyneth and Chris have the modern family thing down pat and continue to vacation and spend family time together. Especially on holidays, Gwyneth wants nothing more than to be one big happy family and for her kids to be able to celebrate with both of their parents,” a source recently revealed to E! News. “She is very happy she and Chris have been able to make this work so well… It’s very special that they’re all able to come together like this and make it work.” When Gwyneth finally does move in with Brad, we’re guessing that she’ll be the best stepmom ever to his kids!
