Hoda Kotb announced she and longtime beau Joel Schiffman are officially engaged after six years of dating! The beloved TV personality, 55, shared the exciting news during the Monday, November 25, episode of Today.

“I have to tell you something that a friend of mine, a friend of ours, asked me to let you guys in on a secret,” she gushed on live TV. “I’ll give you her initials. Her initials are Hoda Kotb and she’s engaged.” Aww!

Hoda — who shares adopted daughters Haley Joy, 2, and Hope Catherine, 8 months, with her future hubby — explained they made their relationship official during their recent vacation over the weekend.

“We ended up having a little dinner on the beach … and he was like, ‘I have something else I would like to say,’ and he said some beautiful things and then he got down on one knee,” Hoda shared. “Then he said, ‘Would you be my wife?”’

“I was totally shocked,” she adorably added. “He had a good poker face.”

We couldn’t be happier for Hoda and Joel!

Peter Cook and Alba Jancou

Christie Brinkley‘s ex-husband, Peter Cook, is engaged! The 60-year-old is set to marry 21-year-old college student Alba Jancou. According to Page Six, he popped the question with a six-carat diamond ring on September 15 while the two were in Santorini, Greece.

“We consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have found, in each other, our soulmate,” Peter, who met Alba two years ago, told the outlet. “We are looking forward to many years of wedded bliss!”

Together with Christie, 65, he is dad to Dancing With the Stars standout Sailor Brinkley Cook, 21.

Dennis Quaid and Laura Savoie

He put a ring on it! Dennis Quaid is engaged to girlfriend Laura Savoie, Us Weekly confirmed. The Parent Trap actor, 65, is set to marry the 27-year-old University of Texas PhD student — who was previously linked to actor Jeremy Piven — after the two were confirmed to be a couple just this summer.

In an interview with Extra, Dennis confirmed that he had popped the question while they were on vacation in Hawaii. “It was kind of spontaneous,” he told the outlet. “It was very much a surprise.”

This will be Dennis’ third time down the aisle, having said “I do” to P. J. Soles in 1978 (divorcing in 1983), Meg Ryan in 1991 (divorcing in 2001) and Kimberly Quaid in 2004 (divorcing in 2018).

On Thursday, September 26, the British royal family announced the engagement of Princess Beatrice to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The death of a soulmate does not mean the death of you. My family, friends, and Linkin Park brothers welcome him to the family with open arms.”

In July 2017, Chester took his own life at age 41 after struggling with drug and alcohol addiction for years. “I will continue to honor Chester and continue my life’s mission to make his passing not in vein,” her post continued. “To all Suicide Loss Survivors, you CAN be happy again. You CAN have space in your heart for grief, joy, happiness, sadness and love. Thank you ALL for your continued love and support.”
