The most famous crocodile hunter, Steve Irwin, and his wife, Terri, married back in 1992, and their only daughter, Bindi Irwin, took some time to wish her wonderful parents a happy wedding anniversary.

The 20-year-old took to Instagram earlier this week to share a lovely photo of her late dad and her mom, 54, smiling next to each other while sitting in director chairs labeled The Crocodile Hunter. “Happy Anniversary to my beautiful parents. Your love is everlasting and shines brighter each and every day,” Bindi captioned the photo.

Fans realized how truly bittersweet the picture was, and they took to the comments section to respond. “The world is truly blessed to have your family. Much love and most happiest anniversary to your amazing parents,” one person said. Another added, “Loved watching Steve and Terri. Miss him.”

The Australian couple married after meeting in 1991. Aside from Bindi, they also had a son, Robert, in 2003. Steve tragically died in September 2006 after a stingray barb pierced his heart while filming an underwater documentary film, Ocean’s Deadliest.

Even though the amazing TV personality has been gone almost 13 years, his family continues to spread his message though their conservation nonprofit Wildlife Warriors. They also currently star on the Animal Planet series, Crikey! It’s the Irwins. Terri has expanded the zoo as well.

“I sure hope dad would be proud,” Steve’s eldest child once told People. “We really do try every day to make him proud and follow in his footsteps. I hope that somewhere he’s out there going, ‘Yes! You did good!’”

“No matter where we go, or what we do, we’ll always come back here,” Robert added. “This is our passion. It’s a part of us and Australia Zoo will always be home.” The kids have always been quite open about their dad and their hope of keeping his legacy alive — Bindi once shared a piece of rare footage of her father giving an interview.

“My first time watching this footage was only a few days ago. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to describe the amount of emotion in my heart once the video ended,” the young woman captioned the clip on Instagram. “My dad. My superhero. I promise to do my best to make you proud and ensure your legacy lives on forever.”

What a beautiful family!
