What a comeback! Don’t question the career choices of Wayne Brady because he will not put up with it at all. The 46-year-old, best known for starring on the classic improv show Whose Line Is It Anyway?, has a new gig on the daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. And not everyone is happy with his latest acting job, especially one particular Twitter user who criticized Wayne being on the show.

“Why … is @WayneBrady on a daytime soap opera,” the very vocal fan said on the social media platform on Tuesday, January 22. “Someone needs to make a Who’s [sic] Line Is It Anyway reboot STAT,” she added.

The comedian was quick to respond to explain his reason for appearing on the daytime soap. “Well, because a) I’m an actor b) I want to and I’m grown,” Wayne, who plays Dr. Reese Buckingham on the CBS drama, began. “c) @cwwhoseline has been on the air for 6 seasons, so your reboot wish is granted. Watch it. And d) having 3 jobs is better than one. So thank you for your concern and have a wonderful day.”

Wayne is correct, as the Whose Line reboot has been on the air since 2013, so that’s quite the way to hit back at someone and promote your work all in the same breath. The Don’t Forget the Lyrics alum really landed on everyone’s map thanks to the show that originally aired on ABC from 1998 to 2007. Once it wrapped up, fans wanted it back so badly that six years later they got their wish, this time with Aisha Tyler as the host, and not Drew Carey who is, of course, busy with something called The Price is Right.

Well, here’s hoping that no one tries to come at Wayne again because it is pretty clear the man will stand up for himself without hesitation!
