Something isn’t right. Tim McGraw is normally very active on social media, but on Friday, Sept. 28, he worried fans when he deleted all his Instagram photos and all his tweets. After clearing all his social media accounts, the 51-year-old tweeted, “I need Jesus or I need whiskey.”

Naturally, this has everyone super concerned — and wondering what could be wrong, especially since Faith Hill hasn’t posted to social media in a week. That said, let’s backtrack on the star’s recent months. The country star and his stunning wife wrapped up their Soul2Soul this summer, and on Friday, Sept. 21, they celebrated her 51st birthday together. He even gave her a sweet social media shout-out on the special day.

“From the first time we met, I knew (she didn’t!) that she was the love of my life forever… No matter the ups and downs, the happy and sad or the good and bad. She’s so special and so loved by us. Happy Birthday, my love. When I wake up next to you in our ’80s… I’ll smile at the life we’ve built,” Tim wrote next to a heartwarming collection of snaps.

But fans can’t help but wonder if Tim has fallen off the wagon, especially after his reference to whiskey. In the past, he’s been very vocal about his alcoholism. “I drank too much. I partied too much. And did other things too much. Chemically,” Tim confessed to Men’s Health back in 2014. “When your wife tells you it’s gone too far, that’s a big wake-up call. That, and realizing you’re gonna lose everything you have. Not monetarily, not career-wise, but family-wise.”

But let’s try to look at the good side of this. Perhaps Tim is just following the trend of deleted his social media history before dropping a new album? After all, we could really use some new music from the legend! Our fingers are crossed that everything is ok…
