Are Rosie O’Donnell and her fiancée Elizabeth Rooney headed for a split? Just days after a new Radar Online report suggested the 56-year-old star’s engagement to Elizabeth, 33, “is on the rocks,” Rosie made a solo red carpet appearance without her love on Wednesday, Dec. 12.

According to Radar, Rosie and Elizabeth also did not spend Thanksgiving together and have been fighting about social media in recent weeks. “The main thing was Rosie felt Elizabeth flaunted their relationship on social media and Rosie just isn’t like that. She is much more low-key,” a source close to the couple told the outlet.

The same day Rosie previously confirmed her engagement to Closer Weekly at the Rosie’s Theater Kids’ 15th Anniversary Fall Gala on Oct. 22, Elizabeth posted a photo of her massive engagement ring on Instagram — a move that reportedly made Rosie “furious.” Since then, Elizabeth has also removed the diamond ring emoji and letter “R” from her Instagram bio.

Another source close to the pair additionally told Radar that Elizabeth’s ex may have been causing a rift between her and Rosie. “The only thing Rosie and Elizabeth ever fight about is Elizabeth’s ex. Rosie caught Elizabeth communicating with her ex and Rosie packed up all of her stuff and almost ended it,” the insider said.

While exclusively speaking to Closer about her engagement in October, Rosie revealed she was considering having more children with Elizabeth. “Well, I think I’m done, but you never know with me. There could be a phone call like what happened with [my adopted daughter] Dakota, and you know, here we go. So I don’t know,” Rosie said. “I’m 56 years old but another part of me, like my son said — when Dakota first was born, my oldest boy Parker said, ‘You know mommy you’re the happiest when you have a baby around.’ He’s like, ‘I’d like to tell you to stop but you’re the happiest and it’s the truth!’”
