No detail is too small for Meghan Markle! Even though she is allegedly nervous about giving birth this spring, Meghan is ready to welcome her new royal baby with open arms when she sees her child’s face for the first time. To ensure that the kiddo will be absolutely comfortable at Frogmore Cottage, Meghan, 37, has planned the arrival down to the tiniest detail.

“She has done a ton of research on child development and knows how crucial the first five years are,” an insider exclusively reveals to Closer Weekly in the magazine’s latest issue, on newsstands now. “She wants to ensure that her baby is surrounded by positive energy.”

Meghan has even placed a portrait of Princess Diana with a young Prince Harry in her baby’s nursery so the newborn will never forget what true love feels like. “They hope the picture reminds their new bundle of joy that their grandmother is watching over them,” the royal insider adds. “Meghan didn’t know Diana, but she sees her as a role model. Like Diana, Meghan wants to give her baby as normal an upbringing as possible.”

She plans to do this by raising her kid as a vegan and having her mom, Doria Ragland, be the baby’s nanny. “Doria’s a complete natural with children — very spiritual and calming, and a great cook,” the source reveals.

Raising a child will likely be the hardest challenge that Prince Harry and Meghan have ever faced but they’re confident their love is all they need to be a great parent. “Meghan is looking so forward to bonding with her child and settling into her new home,” the source admits. “She wants everything to be perfect.”
