Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Apparently ‘Racing Against Time’ to Finish Baby’s Nursery
It’s down to the wire! With the royal baby‘s arrival only a few months away, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are apparently hustling and bustling to get their nursery completed in time, but it’s going to be close.
A source tells Us Weekly that there’s a “race against time” to not only finish the couple’s nursery but their home, Frogmore Cottage, as well. Although it seems like it’s really up in the air if all the construction will be finished in time — as the insider says, contractors are “cutting it close” — they are still on schedule for an Easter completion. So here’s hoping the Duchess of Sussex, 37, can hold off on giving birth until then, right?
The source explains, “They’re working around the clock to make sure interior work on Frogmore Cottage,” and the nursery can begin “the second contractors leave.” And while this situation may be enough stress for anyone to pull out their hair, the insider says that the pair is actually “calm” and “happy to go with the flow.” We’re just glad to hear Harry, 34, isn’t feeling grumpy again. And as far as the nursery is concerned, it seems like it won’t have the traditional colors you usually see in a baby’s room, as it will instead include more toned-down shades.
Katie Nicholl, a royal correspondent, recently told Entertainment Tonight, “According to sources who are helping with [their new home] renovations, the nursery itself is going to be very modern.” She continued, “Don’t expect to see any baby pink or baby blue. Apparently, it’s going to be a monochrome palette — whites and grays, I’m told, will be the color theme for baby Sussex’s nursery.” Katie adds that these colors were chosen for a reason. “They’ve decided not to find out the sex,” she revealed.
