All of the most recent royal drama seems to be about Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton — so what’s that latest on Prince Harry? According to royal biographer Duncan Larcombe, Harry, 34, hasn’t been acting like his usual happy-go-lucky self the past few months and is instead being “grumpy and aloof.”

“All of Harry’s staff have always thought he was fantastic, but [he and Meghan] are high maintenance,” Larcombe recently told Page Sixadding that Harry has been acting “quite grumpy and aloof from his own inner circle of staff” which is “very unlike him.”

“What people love about Harry is that he wears his heart on his sleeve,” Larcombe continued. “He’s down to earth, a normal guy trapped in the royal world and he doesn’t take himself very seriously. But now he is.”

Although it’s hard to pinpoint what exactly could be bothering Harry, Larcombe doesn’t think it’s due to Meghan’s hubby’s rumored feud with his older brother, Prince William, over the Sussexs’ decision to move from Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage.

“They’re so, so close. I think that William was just concerned that [Harry and Meghan] were getting off on the right foot,” he explained. “Kensington Palace is like a posh prison! You’re surrounded by a public park and one half is a museum. The only place Harry would be able to play outside with the baby is a little courtyard.”

Once Harry, Meghan and their royal baby (who is due in late April!) move, we’re sure the trio will love their new Frogmore Cottage home. “It’s set in a delightful location, safe and secure — away from prying eyes,” royals expert Dickie Arbiter previously noted via Twitter. “And [has] lots of space to bring up a family!”
