Brace yourselves people — Meghan Markle is reportedly about to bless the US with her presence in 2019. Vanity Fair‘s royal correspondent Katie Nicholl recently dished that the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry are supposedly planning to visit Meg’s homeland after she gives birth to the couple’s royal baby.

The royal insider revealed that the couple’s reported visit to the US was planned for early 2019, that is until it was announced in October that Meg, 37, and Harry, 34, are expecting their first child. Now, the actress-turned-Duchess is allegedly planning to visit the states and Canada after she welcomes her little bundle of joy in the spring.

Though official dates have yet to be announced, we can supposedly anticipate her visit from across the pond in fall 2019. If you thought Meg returning to the US is worthy of excitement, it gets better. Apparently, the mom-to-be wants to bring along Harry and their newborn baby. OMG!

While we’re not sure if this would be a royal tour or just a casual visit, we assume the couple wouldn’t be jet-setting all the way from the UK to see Meg’s dad and sister. Tension has been in the air between the Markles ever since the Suits alum announced she was tying the knot with her prince charming (literally) in November 2017.

However, Meg’s dad, Thomas Markle, has been making headlines a lot recently. In his newest interview with Good Morning Britain, Thomas dished his feelings as a grandfather to his daughter’s first child. “I’m certainly hoping everything goes well and they produce a beautiful baby,” the retired television lighting director admitted. “I’m certainly hoping I’ll get to see a little Meghan or a little Harry. That would be very nice. I look forward to that happening.”

Meg’s estranged father also shared that he is “hopeful” that “maybe things will soften a little bit” and they’ll be able to salvage their relationship. However, his hopes quickly turned into pleas. “There has to be a place for me. I’m her father and I will be the grandfather to her children,” Thomas insisted. “All I can say is that I’m here. She knows it. I’ve reached out to her—and I need her to reach back to me. I love her very much.”

While a reported visit to the US is still up in the air until Meg gives birth to baby No. 1, we look forward to the royal couple visiting (and whether or not they will visit Meg’s dad). Stay tuned!
