The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Kate Middleton weren’t the only ones who got to see Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s new abode! The Duchess of Sussex recently invited Harry’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth over to tour Frogmore Cottage just days before her royal baby is expected to arrive.

“Harry and Meghan haven’t been short of royal visitors since moving into Frogmore,” a royal insider exclusively revealed to Closer Weekly. “Meghan is so proud of her new home and invited the Queen over for afternoon tea so that she could give her a personal tour. The Queen loved seeing how the couple have transformed the house and made it their own and is really impressed with the renovations.”

Apparently, Harry, 36, and Meghan, 37, have spent around $4 million to renovate their new abode, and according to royal correspondent Katie Nicholl, they made their baby’s nursery exactly how they want it.

“According to sources who are helping with [their new home] renovations, the nursery itself is going to be very modern,” Katie previously revealed to Entertainment Tonight. “Don’t expect to see any baby pink or baby blue. Apparently, it’s going to be a monochrome palette — whites and grays, I’m told, will be the color theme for baby Sussex’s nursery.”

So much for trying to find out the sex of Harry and Meghan’s new baby! However, once Meghan delivers her little bundle of joy, we’re sure her kid will love their new life outside Kensington Palace. They’ll get to play with their cousins Prince George and Princess Charlotte whenever they want!

“The cottage is much more private, and they wanted that for the arrival of the baby,” a source recently shared to Us Weekly. “They are looking forward to really starting their lives together on their own.” We wish them nothing but the best!
