Ever since she was a little girl, Marie Osmond has been living life on the go. Now, nearly five decades later, the beloved Donny & Marie star still can’t keep herself out of the spotlight! In a recent interview with Closer Weekly, Marie offered a glimpse inside her daily routine and revealed how she balances her new gig as cohost of The Talk with her Las Vegas residency.

“Well, I usually start at about 5:30 in the morning. And I like a little time to just wake up my brain,” the 60-year-old beauty exclusively shared with Closer. “Then I head to The Talk. My daughter is doing my makeup, Brianna, so she does this whole face thing. And mostly, I just like to catch up and get my brain alive, that’s the most important.”

The “Paper Roses” songstress — who joined the CBS daytime talk show for her first episode in early September — added that her gig is a load of fun because things are constantly changing. “Because it’s so back and forth, we’ll do fittings for the next day to get everything lined up and make sure everything is good,” she said. “And then we go in and we find out what the topics are. We never know until right before we do it.”

After filming for the episode is finally completed, The Key Is Love author said her publicist or someone on her team will usually “have press for me to do.” She added, “Whatever it is, you’ll do all of that after The Talk, which is at noon till about 3:00 p.m.”

Although it seems like a pretty easy day, Marie’s work commitments don’t end there. “Then I get on a plane and I fly back to Vegas and I’ll get there just in time to head over to the [Donny & Marie] show,” she dished. “I get ready to do the show, do that, and then I do meet and greet. I usually get on the plane around midnight, fly back to L.A. and do the same thing.” Wow!

Even though Marie has one of the most grueling schedules commuting between L.A. and Las Vegas, the Dancing with the Stars alum gushed that the atmosphere on set is the reason she doesn’t mind the long hours. “I love being busy, I love the show, I love the ladies, I love the spontaneity,” she adorably explained. “I like how they’re still fun, it does not we just sit and talk, they let us do fun pieces. It’s truly the nicest group of people from the crew on … that I’ve ever worked with.”

Marie also recalled her earlier years touring alongside Donny Osmond — who announced the end of their long-running, joint residency at the Flamingo Hotel and Resort this past March — and her other famous brothers. She joked, “Maybe I just didn’t know any better and I just think this is normal.” LOL!

Overall, Marie couldn’t be happier about to sit alongside costars Sharon OsbourneEveCarrie Ann Inaba and Sheryl Underwood. “There’s no attitudes, there’s no diva on that set,” she confessed. “It’s just people there to do their job and have fun. Which gosh, is there anything better than that? No.”

We are inspired by Marie’s determined work ethic!
