Kate Middleton and Prince William Will Meet Royal Baby Archie in a ‘Couple of Days’
Little baby Archie may only be a few days old, but he continues to meet his family members, and his uncle and aunt, Prince William and Kate Middleton, are up next!
“They’re set to meet him over the next couple of days,” an insider told Life & Style. “William and Kate and [Prince] Charles and Camilla [Duchess of Cornwall] have been busy with royal engagements.” But not to worry, because the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been staying in touch until they can meet the newest royal member in person.
“They’ve all spoken to Meghan [Markle] and [Prince] Harry on the phone and Harry’s sent them photos of Archie,” the source revealed.
Kate, 37, recently had some kind words upon learning the big news. “It’s really exciting for both of them,” she told a Daily Express reporter. “These next few weeks, it’s always very daunting first time around so wish them all the best.”
“It is parenting, so it’ll be fun to see that,” William, 36, chimed in with. “I wish him all the best. I hope in the next few days they can settle down and enjoy having a new boy in the family and all the, sort of, joys that come with that.”
Archie may have not met William and Kate yet, but he has said hello to his grandparents. Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip all got the chance recently to interact with adorable Archie.
“This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle,” a statement shared on the Sussex Instagram read . “The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duchess’ mother were also present for this special occasion.”
The former actress, 37, and her husband, 34, welcomed their first child into the world on Monday, May 6. “It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing,” the former Suits alum gushed in her first interview since she gave birth. “I mean, I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy.”
We can’t wait for Archie to meet more of his family members!
