Jessica Alba Carries Son Hayes, 1, Around While Going Christmas Tree Shopping With Family

So much to do in so little time! Jessica Alba rounded up husband Cash Warren and their family on Sunday, December 1, to go Christmas tree shopping with them at a local market in Los Angeles. Although they didn’t walk away with a beautiful tree to take home, they did leave with a big Santa toy.

Cash, 40, carried all of their bags to the car once their fun-filled day came to an end and the couple’s children — Honor, 11, Haven, 8, and Hayes, 1 — looked like they were very tired after they spent their afternoon hunting for a nice tree.

Even though their day didn’t go as expected, Jessica always tries to spend as much time with her children as possible. When she previously attended Her Campus Media’s eighth annual Her Conference on Saturday, June 1, Jessica revealed she takes daughter Honor to counseling every now and then because it helps their relationship.

“Some people think, like in my family, you talk to a priest and that’s it. I don’t really feel comfortable talking to him about my feelings,” she explained at the event. “I didn’t grow up in an environment where you talked about this stuff, and it was just like shut it down and keep it moving, so I find a lot of inspiration just in talking to my kids.”

Therapy has helped Jessica “learn to be a better mother to [Honor] and communicate better with her.” As for her own self image, the L.A.’s Finest star admits that she has come a long way to loving her body after feeling very “insecure.”

“I felt like I needed to be someone I wasn’t in order to be accepted. I allowed other people’s ideas of who they thought I should be to define me,” she recently told InStyle. However, all that changed after she fell in love with her husband.

“For the first time in my life, I was really embracing my womanhood. I was in my early 30s, and it had taken up until then for me to feel confident in my body,” she said. “Who am I now? I give zero f–ks.”
