When Jayme Hunsinger was asked to be the maid of honor at her stepsister's wedding, the Pennsylvania-native was touched. But she soon grew embarrassed when thinking about standing in front of all those people.
At 304 pounds, the then 22-year-old knew she needed to make a change. So she joined Weight Watchers in an effort to slim down and get healthy.
By the wedding, Jayme had lost an impressive 80 pounds, and had no plans to stop there. She slowly changed her lifestyle by ditching fatty foods, becoming a vegetarian and taking up running.
Now, at age 30, the mental health therapist has dropped a total of 160 lbs. and is infinitely happier! "I went from a size 24 and now I'm in a size 4," Jayme revealed on Good Morning America. "Half of me is gone."
The 5-foot-9 beauty regularly competes in 5K races, which has made her a role model to her toddler daughter. "[She tells me], 'Mommy, I want to run like you!' It melts my heart," shared Jayme.
Her incredible transformation inspired husband Neil to get in better shape, too. He's lost a total of 90 pounds so far and the duo are thrilled to be going through this journey together.
"I don't think there are words. I mean it's just amazing to have that support and knowing that, no matter what, there's always someone that's going to be there for you," Jayme tearfully said.
Neil is happy to see his wife so energetic and alive. "She exudes beauty," he gushed. "Not that she wasn't before, but just the confidence. It's amazing."
