"When you've got it, flaunt it" may be the new motto for Man v. Food host Adam Richman who had no problem showing off his 70 lb. weight-loss in the July issue of Britain's Cosmopolitan magazine.
The 40-year-old TV personality couldn't be more thrilled after dropping the weight he's struggled with for years.
"To go from hating the way I looked to being a Cosmo centerfold is a profound honor," Adam tells the mag, for which he posed nude to raise awareness for Cancer Research U.K.
The revealing photo leaves little to the imagination, with the only part covered up being the Brooklyn-native's...ahem...package, with a Team USA soccer ball no less!
"If you're a guy who's always been the fun-to-be-around teddy bear, then all of a sudden people are viewing you as sexy, it's nice," Adam explains.
"It's great not having to be the plucky best friend, or the comic relief anymore — I love that. Who wouldn't rather hear, 'Wow, you look great,' than, 'Ewww…'?"
And it's fitting the star should be surrounded by soccer balls, given the sport provides him with a great workout!
"To combat the monotony of gym workouts, I started playing soccer," Adam told Men's Health.
"I looked at workouts as training sessions. My soccer training includes squats, pushups, resistance-band work, and sprints. Ninety minutes of running became part of my love of the game rather than a chore."
