“So much love today ❤️❤️Valentine’s Day x2,” Hoda, 54, adorably captioned an Instagram photo of herself, Haley, her boyfriend, Joel Schiffman, and her mom, Sameha Kotb, at the toddler’s “Haley Street” bash. Hoda really went all out for Haley’s special birthday party because everyone in the pic the proud mama shared was wearing personalized “Haley Street” t-shirts, too!
Haley’s cute party comes just a few months after Hoda and her Today colleagues took their children to meet Elmo and the Cookie Monster on the Sesame Street set — no wonder’s it’s Haley’s favorite show!
Since adopting Haley, Hoda has posted lots of precious photos and videos to Instagram of her daughter doing the most adorable things. This past January, she shared a video of Haley dancing around the house to “Chinese Boxes” by Kim Richey and, for Halloween, Hoda shared a cute clip of Haley going trick-or-treating.
In a previous interview with Life & Style, an insider shared how happy Haley has made her parents since they adopted her two years ago. “[Joel] thinks they made the best decision ever by adopting Haley,” the source revealed. “Having a baby in the house has made them better people and a stronger couple. That’s why they added the name Joy [to Haley’s name].”
Hoda has also gushed about the immense joy Haley has brought to her life. “I understand my purpose. I understand why I’m on this earth,” she previously told Us Weekly. “All of a sudden, the most exciting part of the day is after work when I’m holding her. Not when I’m interviewing someone, even if it’s Beyoncé!”
