Hoda Kotb And Savannah Guthrie Reveal What Costumes Their Adorable Kids Will Be Wearing This Halloween
Today co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb are getting into the Halloween spirit. If you know anything about the duo, then you know this is not surprising since the spooky season is upon us! The two made a guest appearance together on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Oct. 22, where they revealed their plans to dress their kids up for Halloween this year.
“[Haley Joy] is going to be a bumblebee,” said Hoda, 54, of her 20-month-old daughter. “I’m so excited to take her out.” Hoda said that she ordered Haley’s costume on Amazon, and shortly after revealed that her daughter, her boyfriend, Joel Schiffman, mother, and herself are all partaking in this Halloween costume shindig together. “We’re all decking out,” Hoda said. “I’m doing it. My mom’s coming. We’re all dressing like bees.”
According to Savannah, her daughter, Vale, couldn’t choose one costume, therefore, she is going as a combination of two! “Now she wants to do a combo and be Little Red Wonder Woman Riding Hood,” said Savannah, 46, revealing that she bought her four-year-old daughter’s costume off Etsy.
Hoda revealing that her family was going as a swarm of bees this year had host Jimmy Fallon, 44, reminiscing on the year that his daughters, three-year-old Frances and five-year-old Winnie, went as butterflies. “My daughters were butterflies and my wife worked on their costumes for, like, the whole year,” Jimmy recalled. “The day before [Halloween], they were like, ‘Mommy, I don’t want to be a butterfly,'” Jimmy continued. “And my wife was like, ‘Oh, you’re gonna be a butterfly.'” Luckily for the girls — and wife, Nancy’s sanity! — the two wanted to be dragonflies. “My wife just added a tail and was like, ‘Perfect!'”
Halloween is right around the corner and we seriously can’t believe how quickly October flew by. If you don’t have your costume already, you’re running out of time! As far as this year goes, we are so excited to see all the adorable and buzz-worthy celebrity kids dressed up for Halloween!
