A stroll down memory lane. When you’ve accomplished as much as Donny Osmond has, it is important to take some time and look back at some of the moments that impacted you greatly — and that’s exactly what the performer did recently.

The 61-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday, June 5, to remind his fans of an amazing moment more than 40 years ago when he released his first solo album — he was a preteen at the time. “Taking it #WayBackWednesday to 1971 when I made my solo debut. #SweetandInnocent, my first solo release, hit #7 on @billboard’s #hot100 on June 5, 1971,” Donny captioned two photos showing his album.

“I was only about 12 years old when I recorded it, and I had no idea what was about to happen to my life. This song jumpstarted my thrilling teenybopper career,” he continued. “It literally changed my life — and so many other lives — forever. #WBW #SoloDebut.” Seems like The Masked Singer alum has been working hard since he was young!

Fans were loving the look back, as they rushed to the comments section to eagerly respond. “My sister bought that album … then she demanded I change my hair like yours!” one person recalled. Another added, “I still have my copy! It was a Wonderful Christmas gift! Sweet and Innocent still makes my heart smile! ❤️😊Thank you, Donny!”

From his first album, to his 62nd, which the Dancing With the Stars winner is currently working on. “Wrote another song yesterday. This time, @dennywhite came in from #LA to help out. Bit by bit,” Donny captioned two photos showing he and his pal hard at work. “Song by song. Album 62 is taking shape.”

This came after the father-of-5 gushed that he believes his fans will “love” this new album. It is so incredible to see that Donny is still making music after all these years, and making people happy!
