He’s been very fortunate to have encounter massive success in his life, but Donny Osmond also strives to be the best person he can be — and he proved that again by sharing his holiday bucket list.

The 62-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday, December 18, to share a list of things he wants for Christmas, and to send out an important message. “Regardless of how meager our efforts may feel, our influence for good is boundless,” the entertainer wrote. “Each of us has the ability to touch another person’s heart in unique ways. This isn’t just a holiday bucket list, it’s a way to be kind and #LightTheWorld daily. The singer’s list includes certain tasks to do during the holidays, but crossed out in order to show more important things. People were of course loving this post, as they took to the comments section to respond. “Thank you so much, I needed this today,” one person said. “Wonderful words to live by! All we need is love!!! Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family!” Even The Brady Bunch alum Maureen McCormick chimed in with, “Love this!”

Donny has been in holiday mode like a lot of people are this time of year. In fact, he graced his fans with a gift recently: a list of some of his favorite tunes to play during the Christmas season. “I’m excited to share a collection of songs I’ve handpicked to help get you into that wonderful Christmas spirit,” the Masked Singer alum wrote on Instagram. “Rather than compile a #Spotify playlist of songs we hear over and over again, I’ve created a list that’s pretty eclectic. These selections are some of my current favorites, and I hope they become your cherished favorites, as well. Wishing you a wonderful holiday season. Enjoy!”
