When it comes to growing older, Celine Dion totally embraces her age now that she’s over 50. In a candid new interview, the singer — who will ring in her 51st birthday on March 30 — admitted she’s simply “having a good time” aging in the spotlight.

“First of all, 50 has been great for me because five is my lucky number,” the mom-of-three gushed during a recent chat with the UK’s The Sun newspaper. “To be honest with you, I think I’m at the best [part] of my life right now and I really want to enjoy and embrace every moment of it, and enjoy it.”

“That’s why I’m enjoying [wearing high-fashion clothes more], my friends, I go out, I’m traveling a little bit between shows. I go to see shows even though the next day I’m going [to] have [my own show], so I’m trying not to scream because I’m loving it so much … It’s all new, it’s like I’m having a second wind, like I’m having a wind beneath my wings. I’m spreading, I’m having a good time,” she continued.

As the singer looks ahead to the future with a positive attitude, a French filmmaker and actress named Valerie Lemercier is now looking at Celine’s past and reportedly working on a biopic called The Power of Love that is based on the songstress’ life and career.
