Celine Dion, 50, Gets Real About Aging in the Spotlight: ‘I’m Having a Good Time!’
When it comes to growing older, Celine Dion totally embraces her age now that she’s over 50. In a candid new interview, the singer — who will ring in her 51st birthday on March 30 — admitted she’s simply “having a good time” aging in the spotlight.
“First of all, 50 has been great for me because five is my lucky number,” the mom-of-three gushed during a recent chat with the UK’s The Sun newspaper. “To be honest with you, I think I’m at the best [part] of my life right now and I really want to enjoy and embrace every moment of it, and enjoy it.”

“That’s why I’m enjoying [wearing high-fashion clothes more], my friends, I go out, I’m traveling a little bit between shows. I go to see shows even though the next day I’m going [to] have [my own show], so I’m trying not to scream because I’m loving it so much … It’s all new, it’s like I’m having a second wind, like I’m having a wind beneath my wings. I’m spreading, I’m having a good time,” she continued.
As the singer looks ahead to the future with a positive attitude, a French filmmaker and actress named Valerie Lemercier is now looking at Celine’s past and reportedly working on a biopic called The Power of Love that is based on the songstress’ life and career.

“The Power of Love chronicles Dion’s life from her birth and modest upbringing in Quebec in the 1960s to her extraordinary rise to fame as a teen, and also her relationships with her manager and husband, René Angélil, and her family,” Variety described the upcoming project.
