She’s hitting the road and (most) of her family is coming along with! Carrie Underwood is gearing up for her latest concert tour, Cry Pretty 360, to start in May and a source close to the singer has exclusively revealed to Closer Weekly that the 35-year-old country star is bringing her two young sons, Isaiah, 3, and newborn Jacob, along with her but is leaving husband Mike Fisher at home.

“Carrie’s plan is to take the boys on the road with her without Mike,” the insider said of the star and her former pro hockey player hubby, 38. “Carrie has always said Mike hates being on the road with her. Which is strange because he’s had such a similar lifestyle traveling from city to city. But tour life is just not for him.”

“I’m sure he will visit but he won’t be Mr. Mom caring for the kids all day,” the source added.

Carrie just gave birth to baby No. 2, son Jacob, a few days ago on January 21 but that isn’t stopping her from getting back to work ASAP. “Carrie’s tour is kicking off in early May and rehearsals start next month. So she has very little downtime! She will ease back into work, but still, she has an awful lot on her plate,” the source told Closer.

As for how she’ll handle having two kids on tour with her without the help of her handsome hubby, the insider revealed that Carrie will have lots of support from her staff. “She keeps a very small entourage of her trainer, a nanny, her wardrobe and makeup people and that’s really it. She doesn’t have a huge entourage of assistants like you’d think,” the source explained. “She is very hands-on, so this will surely be tough for her. It’s a lot of work and to do it without Mike won’t be easy.”
