John Stamos’ Wife Caitlin McHugh Gets Body-Shamed on Instagram for Showing off Her Post-Baby Figure in a Bikini
That’s not nice. John Stamos‘ wife, Caitlin McHugh, gave birth to their son, Billy, in April, and now, the 32-year-old is being body-shamed for showing off her post-baby figure on social media.
Caitlin took to Instagram on Wednesday, Aug. 8 to share a screenshot of an Instagram message she had with a social media troll who called her out for flaunting her (impressive) body in a red bikini just four months after giving birth. “You’re a mother now. Gross, tattoo and all,” the follower wrote. And Caitlin’s response was priceless. “Not as gross as trolling,” she quipped back with the waving hand emoji.
But Caitlin isn’t letting the social media haters ruin her attitude. In fact, she’s already thinking about when she will get that baby bump back! When asked by ET when she wants a second child, Caitlin replied, “as soon as I can!”
She continued, “Right now, Billy is extremely spoiled and we need to share the love, he’s gotta share some of those toys and all the things that have been given to him. He needs [siblings] to keep him grounded. If he’s the only one, he’ll get way too much love because there hasn’t been a child on either side of our family in quite some time.”
The Full House star’s lady especially can’t wait to give her man more children as well. “I would love to give him a little girl,” the actress recently told ET. “He comes so naturally to fatherhood and I love watching it. I stare at the both of them all the time. [John is] 100 percent full-on active and fantastic… He’s perfect, he’s a perfect father. I can’t wait to give him more [kids].”
And just like Caitlin, John, 54, is embracing his new body since becoming a dad. “Have I turned into a corny old man? No. I’m not telling anyone to pull my finger,” he joked to People last month. “I have embraced my dad fat stomach now. I’ve got a dad bod I’ve got to work on.” Too funny!
