Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Apparently Just Met Up Twice to Deal With Their Divorce Drama

Brangelina’s headache of a Hollywood split is, apparently, still going strong. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie recently reunited for two in-person meetings in order to deal with their tense divorce, according to new reports.

The Fight Club star, 55, and his ex-wife, 43, met face-to-face last week to talk about their breakup and then again on Wednesday, January 30 at a Los Angeles office, Us Weekly has revealed. “They’ve had other meetings in person; this is not the first,” a source told the magazine. “This is part of their ongoing process to work through things regarding the kids and the divorce.” Brad and the Girl, Interrupted actress were married from 2014 to 2016 and, since then, their separation has been a complete rollercoaster.

A second insider revealed, “They have established a foundation … that is enabling the process to move forward in a much more thoughtful and peaceful manner.” Well, that can only mean good news, especially for their six children: Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, both 10. Hearing that the actors want to keep the peace is no surprise at all, as we recently learned that the pair now appears to be aiming to make their divorce free of chaos and drama. Grazia revealed that Angelina has “finally accepted Brad will be involved in their lives and they’ll be sharing parenting duties.” A source added, “While it was never clear anyway, no one could now accuse her of turning the children against him.”

The source close to the couple continued, “A lot of the unnecessary stress and strain was caused by Ange’s wild tactics.” And this may be the reason for all the alleged sit-downs. The insider added, “Angelina has also worked tirelessly these past few months to treat the children to days out and special events to make them happy and, some are saying, ease her guilt over what’s been a messy divorce. She’s been concerned about what they’ve been hearing from their friends about the nasty details of the divorce, which is why she’s insisted they spend more time doing activities to take their minds off of it.”

The former Hollywood mega-duo reached a child custody agreement on December 4, but it remains to be seen if everything will settle down for the Jolie-Pitt family after all these rumored chats between Brad and Angelina.
