It has been two years since Angelina Jolie, 43, filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, 54, but it seems things are getting a tad rocky for Brad when it comes to his kids. A source has revealed to Us Weekly that Brad reportedly doesn’t have the best relationship with two of his sons.

When it comes to 17-year-old Maddox and 15-year-old Pax, the source says that Brad “has accepted that he’ll likely never be able to repair their relationship.” The source also adds that it is unlikely that Brad will ever be able to have a positive post-divorce relationship with Angelina. “Angelina hasn’t offered any concessions about her actions that have contributed to the situation,” the source explained. Brad and Angelina also have four other kids: 13-year-old Zahara Marley, 12-year-old Shiloh, and 10-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

While Brad was only married to Angelina for two years (2014-2016), after a five-year marriage to Jennifer Aniston, Angelina decided to call it quits after an alleged altercation involving Maddox and Pax on a flight from France to Los Angeles on September 14, 2016. Neither party has ventured out and said “I do” to another partner since.

Earlier this month, the pair finally agreed to a child custody agreement, avoiding a scheduled court date where the exes would have had to fight it out since Angelina wanted sole physical custody of the six kids while Brad wanted 50/50 joint custody. “A custody arrangement was agreed two weeks ago, and has been signed by both parties and the judge,” Angelina’s attorney Samantha Bley DeJean shared on Nov. 30. “The agreement, which is based on the recommendations of the child custody evaluator, eliminates the need for a trial. The filing and details of the agreement are confidential to protect the best interests of the children.”

“The former couple finally realized the ongoing fight is only hurting the children, and it’s expected to be finalized very soon,” The Blast previously reported.
