TV queen Oprah Winfrey showed up to last night’s Critics Choice Awards looking trim and happy ahead of her 60th birthday on Jan. 29!
The former talk show host was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in “Lee Daniels’ The Butler,” but as she reflected on her many accomplishments this year, the television mogul also opened up about one project that didn’t go as smoothly as she would have liked.
After troubled star Lindsay Lohan completed 90 days of court-ordered rehab last summer, Oprah tapped the actress for an OWN network docuseries’ chronicling Lindsay's road to recovery.
But just as the starlet has been known to act in the past, filming the reality show has proved difficult for the billionaire.
"There have been bumps, that's life," Oprah said of working with Lindsay. "It's been bumpy, but as far as I know we are still filming."
Oprah shared that she did speak to the actress two days ago after Lindsay texted her, but she aware that the young star was currently in London.
“You would know more,” the star joked to the press about Lindsay’s whereabouts. “What do you know?”
According to critics who have seen a clip from the upcoming show, which is set to premiere on the OWN network March 9th, Oprah doesn’t hold back when discussing her issues with the actress.
"This is just what everyone warned me would happen. And it is," the seasoned interviewer apparently fumes during one scene.
