Melanie Griffith reunited with her ex-husband, Don Johnson, this past weekend to watch their daughter, Dakota Johnson, host 'Saturday Night Live' for the first time on Feb. 28.
It's been several years since the 'Miami Vice' star, 65, and the 57-year-old actress have been seen in public together. The couple first wed in January 1976 before divorcing just six months later.

In 1989, they reconciled and tied the knot again in June 1989 — the same year Melanie gave birth to Dakota — but split in 1994. They briefly reunited once again a later year before finally going their separate ways in May 1995.

During her opening monologue on 'SNL,' the duo's 25-year-old daughter referenced her mother's hosting gig on the show in the late 1980s.
"It's really incredible that I'm standing on this stage right now, because in December of 1988, my mother stood in this exact spot and hosted 'SNL,'" Dakota began before telling a cute anecdote about her parent's courtship.

"And this is true, this is true," she continued. "Right after the show, my father got down on one knee and proposed to [my mother] for the second time. And exactly nine months later, I was born... So I must've been conceived that night after the show or maybe even during the show. Isn't that right, you guys?"
The camera then panned to Melanie and Don sitting together in the audience.
After the show, Melanie took to her Twitter account to praise her daughter's performance.
