Debra Messing looks fantastic after dropping 20 lbs. on a healthier diet, but the actress admits her weight loss didn't come without sacrifices.
"I miss everything," the red-head reveals of the junk food she used to devour. "I loved burgers and fries and pizzas — the greasiest food. Literally if I could, I would subsist on all of that."
But luckily, her new NBC show, The Mysteries of Laura, is helping her to stay motivated when it comes to dieting.
"Unfortunately, working 17 hours a day, you can't subsist [on that] and be a good employee," the 45-year-old says, joking, "I have fond memories of [junk food]."
Though she doesn't exercise regularly, Debra says her "clean" diet, which includes a green shake in the morning, has already given her more energy.
"That was the goal from the beginning," the mom to 10-year-old son Roman shares.

"It was to try to figure out how to be a working mom and to do everything that a working mom has to do in a day and to do it with energy and the optimism and the focus it needs. I just was tired of being tired."
The former Will & Grace star also learned her new way of life relies heavily on one thing.
"It's really just about trying to stay disciplined, which has been a problem for me in the past," Debra admits to People magazine. "But so far so good."
