It was “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” on April 25 and the Today show cast didn’t miss out on an opportunity to spend the day with their kids! Savannah Guthrie, along with some of our other NBC favorites such as Craig Melvin and Carson Daly, brought their kiddos to the set for Thursday’s episode of the morning talk show.

“Best. Day. Ever!!! So fun having my little girl come to work today and hang with some of her @todayshow besties!” Savannah, 47, captioned a collage of pics of her and her daughter, Vale, that she shared to Instagram. In the snaps, the proud mama and her 4-year-old can be seen dancing around the set, sitting in on meetings and hanging around the NBC office — all while sporting a huge smile! The famed TV host — who is also the mom to her 2-year-old son, Charles — shared an adorable clip of Vale as she “cohosted” a segment alongside Craig’s 5-year-old son, Delano. The two toddlers adorably sat next to each other at their parents’ desk with mugs of coffee placed perfectly in front of them. “Ready for their closeup!!!” Savannah wrote in the caption.

In the clip, Savannah and Craig, 39, can be heard asking their kiddos if they wanted to say “good morning” as the show returned to the air. “No!” Vale jokingly exclaimed to her mom as Delano gave a soft “Good morning” at his dad’s request. Thankfully, the little boy’s response warmed up Vale, who then showed off her pink Flamingo purse and answered questions when asked by the proud parents.

Fans of the Today stars seemed pretty fond of the new replacements considering they couldn’t help but gush about the adorable children in the comment section of Savannah’s post. “Oh my goodness! They could totally sub in any day! Beautiful children,” one user wrote. “Future news anchors. They are just too stinking cute,” said another.

While Vale came across as a little timid, Carson’s 10-year-old son Jackson proved he was already a teleprompter-reading professional! After being introduced by his dad, the growing youngster showed off his skills as he read a voice-over while seated next to the former TRL host.

“This 3-month-old hated tummy time, so her parents found a perfect way to their solution: They put her on the top of their robot vacuum and let her roam around the house,” Jackson read along as a clip of a baby riding around on a vacuum played on the screen.

By the looks of how adorable this year’s “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” was, we certainly can’t wait for next year’s!
