Monaco's royal twins have officially made their public debut!
Princess Charlene, 36, and Prince Albert II, 56, presented their nearly one-month-old babies, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, for the first time on Wednesday, Jan. 7 — and the little bundles of joy are too cute!
The proud parents — who married in a lavish ceremony in July 2011 — smiled and waved to the crowd below as they appeared on the balcony at the Palais Princier in Monaco at 11:45 this morning. Charlene, clad in a stylish cream-colored coat, held son Jacques while her husband, Prince Albert, cradled daughter Gabriella in his arms.
"What I can tell you is that they are both very active and very expressive," the new mom told 'Paris Match' magazine following the twins' arrival on Dec. 10, 2014. "They are beautiful, adorable, I'm crazy in love with them."
"I think a very strong protective instinct in me was born in the same time [as the twins]," she told the publication. "I will do my best to guide them, raise them and send them the values that my husband and I share."
Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques are the first children born to Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II, though he has two older daughters from two previous relationships.
