Prince William Is ‘Extremely Concerned’ for Brother Harry Even Though They’ve ‘Grown Apart’

It’s no secret that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have been under a lot of public scrutiny since the moment they got married in May 2018. The pressure has taken such a toll on the royal couple that Harry’s family members have started to notice just how stressed out he and the Duchess of Sussex really are.

“William is extremely concerned about Harry and Meghan,” a source recently explained to Us Weekly. “Even though the brothers have grown apart, William still cares about Harry and is hoping that he’ll open up to him about his current struggles. William wants to be there for Harry and hates seeing him in such a bad place. Despite their differences, blood is thicker than water.”

The insider added that Prince William is very concerned about Prince Harry because he’s “terrified” of history repeating itself. When he was just a kid, he realized how Harry “suffered from bouts of depression” when their mom, Princess Diana, died in 1997.

During that time, the two brothers “went through hell” and that’s something William and their dad, Prince Charles, don’t want to ever relive again. “Harry’s a very sensitive guy, and Charles is worried, too,” the insider noted. “This is a time when Harry needs his family the most.”

However, Harry has been so busy lately that he’s barely had time to sit down with William and inform him about his life.

“Inevitably stuff happens. But we’re brothers, we’ll always be brothers,” the Duke of Sussex said about his bond with his only sibling. “We’re certainly on different paths at the moment. I’ll always be there for him and, as I know, he’ll always be there for me. We don’t see each other as much as we used to because we’re so busy but I love him dearly.”

It’s great that the duke can always rely on his brother for support. As for Meghan, she has her husband whenever she needs him.

“As a woman it’s really — it’s a lot,” the duchess said in the documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, about the pressures of living in the public eye.
