So sweet! Prince George is a smart kid with an active imagination, so it’s no surprise that not only is he a popular student at school, but he even has the cutest nickname!

“George is really happy at school, [and] his nickname is P.G.,” a parent at the school told Vanity Fair. “He’s very popular and has lots of friends, and there’s very little fuss made about who he is. Either [Prince] William or Kate [Middleton] do drop off, and they are always very friendly. William particularly loves to have a chat with some of the other parents and he works out with some of the moms at the Harbor Club after drop off. He’s very chatty and amiable.”

The outlet reveals that the pair’s oldest child also enjoys play dates and parties, and he’s very close with classmate Maud Windsor, who just so happens to be his cousin.

The 5-year-old, who attends Thomas’s Battersea in south London, is almost done with his first year there. The school, which cost almost $8,000 a term, is co-ed — different from the schools his parents went to as kids. The royal couple will also have their daughter, Princess Charlotte, 3, join her brother in September.

William, 36, Kate, 37, along with George and Charlotte, recently joined their cousins for a fun day at the Burnham Horse Trials on Friday, April 19. While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s youngest child, Prince Louis, was not seen, the family still seemed to have fun. “They are just enjoying being a family and having a well-earned break over the Easter,” said a source close to the royals said.

This is not the first time we’ve heard that George has a nickname — he has even given himself one, according to a dog walker who had an interaction with the young boy. “Just to be friendly, I engaged in a bit of small talk and I asked George what his name was, even though obviously I knew it,” the woman told The Sun. “To my astonishment, he said, ‘I’m called Archie’ with a big smile on his face … I don’t know why he calls himself Archie but kids often play with their names and I think it’s lovely.”

Little George sure is adorable!
