Melissa Rivers is set to inherit $75 million in cash and a $35-million, French-inspired condo in New York's Upper East Side from her late mother Joan Rivers' estate, a new report reveals.
According to the report, Melissa's 13-year-old son, Cooper, has received his own inheritance from his grandmother.
This news comes just days after the New York City Medical Examiner confirmed the comedienne and Fashion Police host died from a lack of oxygen to her brain during an Aug. 28 throat procedure.
After Joan's cause of death was revealed, Melissa said in a statement to ABC News, "We continue to be saddened by our tragic loss and grateful for the enormous outpouring of love and support from around the world. We have no further comment at this time."
"My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh," Melissa said following Joan's untimely passing on Sept. 4. "Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon."
Us Weekly was the first to report this news.
