Meghan Markle’s Former ‘Suits’ Costar May Have Hinted at Baby Sussex’s Gender at Duchess’ NYC Shower

Ever since Kensington Palace announced in October 2018 that Meghan Markle is expecting her first child with Prince Harry, royal fans have been dying to know the gender of Baby Sussex. Though we won’t know for sure if the royal baby is a boy or a girl until Meghan gives birth in April, one of the duchess’ friends may have hinted at the little one’s sex at Meg’s baby shower in New York City this week.

According to Cosmopolitan, the Duchess of Sussex’s former Suits costar Abigail Spencer was spotted carrying two different presents contained in blue gift bags as she walked into The Mark Hotel before Meg’s $200,000 shower took place. So … does that mean Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, are having a boy?!

But don’t freak out just yet as florists were also spotted unpacking pink, orange and yellow flowers outside the NYC hotel on Tuesday, February 19 similarly prompting some royal fans to guess Meghan is pregnant with a baby girl. Who knows for sure?!

“The flowers were spring colors in pretty pastel shades,” a source dished to E! News of the shower’s floral decor. “There were pink roses and cherry blossom vines. There were tons of flowers delivered before the shower started in an unmarked van.”

In addition to Abigail, the duchess’ good friend Amal Clooney was spotted entering The Mark Hotel earlier today, Wednesday, February 20, to celebrate Meghan’s pregnancy a day after the two-day party first got underway. It’s no surprise that the human rights lawyer showed up for the extravaganza considering she attended her famous friend’s royal wedding in May 2018 as well.

“Meghan and Amal have known each other for a while [and share] many interests,” a source previously revealed to People, adding that George Clooney‘s wife helped Meghan get used to living in Europe. “Amal has been helping Meghan settle into London life. It was a very natural friendship from day one.” As we continue to follow Meg’s baby shower, we can only hope for more hints regarding Baby Sussex!
