New Photos!Meghan Markle Looks Hollywood Glam in Head-to-Toe Black for Baby Shower in NYC

It seems like just yesterday that Kensington Palace announced that Meghan Markle is expecting her first child with Prince Harry. Flash forward four months and the Duchess of Sussex is now in New York City for a very special baby shower that is reportedly being thrown by her friends!

The 37-year-old was spotted outside The Mark Hotel in Manhattan’s Upper East Side neighborhood on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 19 as she headed a party that her nearest and dearest planned for the mom-to-be. According to Hello! magazine, Meghan is expected to be joined by around 15 guests at her baby shower today, which is said to be the first of two baby showers that the duchess is expected to attend before her royal baby arrives in April.

The former Suits actress’ best friend and stylist, Jessica Mulroney, is believed to be the brainchild behind Meghan’s NYC shower, while the duchess’ other pals such as Priyanka Chopra, Serena Williams and her mother, Doria Ragland, are expected to attend the lavish gathering. More friends of Meg apparently on the guest list include Amal Clooney, the royal’s wedding makeup artist Daniel Martin, SoHo House consultant Markus Anderson, designer Misha Nonoo and actresses Natalie Portman and Abigail Spencer. 

Earlier today, a team of florists was also spotted delivering hundreds of colorful pink, yellow and orange flowers to The Mark Hotel, causing many to think Harry, 34, and Meghan might be having a baby girl. “The flowers were spring colors in pretty pastel shades,” a source dished to E! News of the shower’s floral decor. “There were pink roses and cherry blossom vines. There were tons of flowers delivered before the shower started in an unmarked van. There was also a large flat cardboard box that appeared to be a convertible crib.”
