It sounds like Baby Archie is going to be a world traveler before he even turns 1! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning a royal tour of Africa this fall, a source close to the royal family has confirmed.

The family of three will set out — likely in November — when Archie is around six months old (remember, he was born on May 6) and Meghan, 37, is done with maternity leave, the source explained to Closer Weekly.

Another royal insider explained to Us Weekly that the couple and their little bundle of joy will be making stops in the countries of Angola, Malawi and South Africa. While on their tour, Harry, 34, will continue to grow the Sentebale charity he founded in 2006, which has a mission to raise money and spread awareness for children affected by HIV in southern Africa.

Word of their African tour comes after the Daily Mail reported in late May that officials in South Africa were allegedly told to expect a visit by the couple and their son. “People have been informed that the Duke and Duchess will be coming,” the source explained. “Early preparations have begun.”

In April, it was speculated that Meghan and Harry were moving to South Africa upon their baby’s arrival. Fans of the loving royal duo assumed they would live abroad for two or three years after a new international role opened up for a member of the royal family.

Their upcoming trip abroad as a family of three must be a relief for the red-haired royal, considering his first trip away from his firstborn son was supposedly “very difficult” for him. On May 23, Harry put fatherhood on pause as he jetted off for his first night away from his wife and son.

Even though Prince William‘s brother was all smiles as he visited Rome for the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup, a source close to the royal family dished that the trip was apparently everything but rainbows and butterflies. “Harry left for Italy and it was very difficult for him to leave Archie and Meghan,” a second royal insider dished to Us Weekly at the time. “He wants to spend every second he can with them.” Aww!

We can’t wait to see all the glamorous pics from their upcoming tour to Africa!
