Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton made quite the style statement when she stepped out at the Royal Foundation’s Mental Health in Education conference in London on Wednesday, February 13. For the special outing, the 37-year-old duchess looked amazing in a tweed blazer paired with a matching skirt. She accessorized the ensemble with a pair of black tights, coordinating suede pumps and a black clutch.

Kate’s classicly gorgeous suit is by Chanel, her signature heels are made by Tod’s and her clutch was designed by British brand Mulberry. When the mom-of-three arrived at the event, Kate Silverton, a BBC reporter, reportedly told attendees, “As you will know, [Kate] has been a great driving force behind the Royal Foundation’s work supporting children in their earliest years and, Your Royal Highness, it’s an honor to have you here with us today.”

Just a few days ago, Kate stepped out for another royal engagement supporting children’s mental health when she visited London’s Lavender Primary School and Alperton Community School on Tuesday, February 5. During that outing, Kate attended workshops with kids and even showed one group of youngsters her family’s 2018 Christmas Card photo as an example of something that makes her feel good.

Kate’s conference was organized by the Royal Foundation, which she oversees with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Prince William. According to the organization’s website, they aim to use their “passion and unique influence to change mindsets to make a lasting difference on the issues that matter to us and to society.”

Duchess Of Cambridge Attends 'Mental Health In Education' Conference

Kate paid close attention to the speakers during the conference. In a video previously posted by the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, Kate revealed why supporting mental health initiatives is so important to her. “Mental health is how we feel and think. Things that can’t really be seen, but that affect us every day and talking about them can feel difficult,” she said.

The official Kensington Palace Twitter account posted a photo of Kate at today’s event and said she learned how teachers can better assist their students at school. “A key barrier to teachers feeling best equipped to support the mental health of their pupils and themselves is a lack of formal training,” the caption read.

Thanks to the Royal Foundation, more people in Britain are starting to have candid conversations about mental health. The organization’s website states, “One in ten children will experience a mental health difficulty at least once before the age of 11.”

Kate’s husband had quite the busy day today, too. This morning, Prince William threw on an apron to help serve food to the homeless with The Passage charity in London.
