Congratulations, Kate Middleton!

The Duchess of Cambridge, 33, was recently named the new Honorary Air Commandant of the Air Cadets — and we couldn’t be happier for the hardworking mom-of-two!

According to E! Online, Kate’s new role — which was previously held by Prince Phillip — means she will represent an organization of 42,000 air cadets ranging from ages 12 to 19. In addition, she will manage 15,000 adult volunteers stationed at over 1,200 Royal Air Force units across the UK and abroad.

“We are absolutely thrilled that Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge has agreed to be our patron,” Air Commodore Dawn McCafferty said during a special ceremony for Kate on Wednesday, Dec. 16. “Her links to the [Royal Air Force] family are already well-established and her desire to support youth development is well-recognized around the world.”
