Apparently, Kate Middleton and her sister Pippa Middleton‘s success hasn’t totally rubbed off on their younger brother, James Middleton, because, according to the Daily Mail, the 31-year-old businessman is actually now working as a tour guide in Scotland.
James is reportedly working at Pippa’s father-in-law’s Glen Affric Estate in the countryside after previously losing more than $3 million with his failed marshmallow business, Boomf. However, don’t be too worried about James — he’s allegedly really enjoying having more free time while working at the posh Scottish Highlands resort.
According to the Glen Affric Estate’s official website, the resort’s location is “often considered to be amongst the most beautiful places in Scotland.” During their stay, guests can partake in trout fishing, hunting, and various outdoor activites on the estate’s 10,000-acre property.
As for James’ new gig, The Mail reported that Mr. Middleton has been spotted taking pictures with guests. Furthermore, James has apparently been loving his job at the resort so much that he’s thinking about living in Scotland permanently. In a previous interview, he gushed, “the countryside is where I’m happiest and I’ll be taking my four dogs to Glen Affric with me.”
If James does decide to venture back into the business world in the future, he can definitely count on his two famous sisters for support. During a past interview, James revealed that Kate, 36, and Pippa, 35, adored his marshmallow business before it went belly up.
“They are incredibly supportive and are always intrigued by what I come up with. My family is usually the first guinea pigs to try out my new recipes,” he told Brides. “The marshmallows got the thumbs up from the first batch so I was pretty happy with that.”
As a dashingly handsome college dropout, we’re not concerned for James’ future success. After all, if he ever grows tired of Scotland, he probably secure a job as a tour guide at Kensington Palace next!
